The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology (BSc. CSIT) is a 4 year undergraduate program offered by Tribhuvan University in Nepal.


It combines field of computer science and information technology which provides students with a thorough understanding of software development and networking.


This program also provides a comprehensive education that prepares graduates for a wide range of career opportunities in Nepali tech industry and abroad.


As of 2024, this program is being run by 10 governmental colleges and 43 private colleges across the country under the affiliation of Tribhuvan University.

Eligibility Criteria to study BSc. CSIT in Nepal

To be eligible to study BSc. CSIT in Nepal, candidates must meet the following requirements: 


1. Must have completed a 12-year schooling in the science stream or equivalent 
2. Must have secured a minimum of second division in their +2 or equivalent in science stream from any university, board or institution recognized by TU

3. Must have passed the entrance examination conducted by TU with at least 35% marks
